Salahi's famous red dress up for auction

Michaele Salahi, the alleged White House crasher, is auctioning off her hideous red dress she wore the night of the Obama's First State Dinner. Her dress, the red Sari, was announced to be up for auction when the controversy was aired on The Real Housewives of DC.

The Potomack Company sold the Sari on October 2nd for $7000. They had also estimated that Salah's dress would go in the $2,000 to $3,000 range but the bidding was fierce from the standing room only crowd.

The red Sari was sold to James Packard-Gomez, co-owner of the Erwin Gomez Salon & Spa. This was the place the Slahis' got ready at before they crashed the White House dinner. Michaele Salahi claims that the proceeds of the dress will go to a couple of charities. But is that the truth? Now that the Salahis' are in debt, I am sure that the money will be spent on more cheap, white stretch limos to cart them around while cameras are present.
